Watch: Artificial avalanche tumbles down Russian mountain

An artificially-triggered avalanche was filmed cascading down Russia's highest mountain, Mount Elbrus.

Authorities planned the controlled avalanche to release a build up of snow after heavy falls in the region.

Snow tumbled down the mountain and appeared to cover the car park, buildings, and roads further down the mountain.

No injuries or deaths were reported from the incident.
