Right folks, we've seen two great games tonight and we've got two more coming your way on Sunday, with the Los Angeles Rams facing Caleb Williams, the Chicago Bears fans and some frigid conditions in the Windy City.

Our first game on Sunday comes from Foxborough as the New England Patriots host the Houston Texans in what looks a meaty AFC clash with two fierce defences set for a serious dust-up.

We'll be back at around 7.15pm this evening I suppose it is now.

So go get some sleep, recharge and refresh and let's go again to find out who fills out our final four on the road to the Super Bowl.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold on his injury: "It felt good. Once I got going I felt really good and it was no problem.

"Our offensive line was good but our defence is our speciality. That opening kick-off was phenomenal. Everyone stepped up tonight."

On the defensive line: "They're unbelievable, they've stepped up every game for us. I can't say enough good things about our defence. I'm just glad they're on our side.

"We'll see who we play tomorrow. No matter who it is, we've got a great squad, a really resilient bunch. I'm really proud to be part of this team and organisation."

Whichever team comes and plays here next week, they better hope that the Seahawks are playing less than their best. I can't fault them tonight offensively or defensively.

A fifth Championship game coming up next week for the Seattle Seahawks after an emphatic victory over their rivals tonight.

The Seahawks actually first appeared in the AFC title game before they switched to the NFC, and since then they've rached the Championship game three times - and gone 3-0.

It's back to the drawing board for the 49ers, who achieved so much considering all their injuries but this was just one game too far - coming on a short week having battled the Eagles last week then coming back across the country, it was always going to be tough.

  7. Two-minute warningpublished at 04:13 GMT 18 January

San Francisco 49ers 6-41 Seattle Seahawks - fourth quarter

Just two minutes left before Seattle can officially celebrate.

Nothing much for the Niners to celebrate apart from the fact this is only their second-worst play-off defeat ever, with their 49-3 loss to the Giants in 1986 remaining their record loss.

  8. Sad San Fran facespublished at 04:09 GMT 18 January

San Francisco 49ers 6-41 Seattle Seahawks - fourth quarter

There's a lot of sad faces, a few hugs and a lot of stunned looks on the San Francisco sideline as they come to terms with the fact there'll be no home team in the Super Bowl at Levi's Stadium next month.

There's likely to be one of their NFC West rivals there, which they won't be pleased about, as Seattle will host the NFC Championship and could be facing the LA Rams if they can beat Chicago tomorrow.

  9. Darnold rested as back-up Lock comes inpublished at 04:02 GMT 18 January

San Francisco 49ers 6-41 Seattle Seahawks - fourth quarter

Still nine minutes to go in this Divisional Round game and Seattle are so comfortable they're able to pull Sam Darnold and give back-up quarterback Drew Lock some play-off reps.

There's a few more back-ups coming in as well - which will really hurt the Niners with the game over so early.

  10. Sack fumble!published at 04:00 GMT 18 January

San Francisco 49ers 6-41 Seattle Seahawks - fourth quarter

We were missing a sack fumble on the stat sheet I suppose, so DeMarcus Lawrence sees to that by hitting Brock Purdy and forcing the ball out - and it's picked up by Nick Emmanwori.

That's a third turnover for this Seattle defence that's just been lights out today.

Fair play to Christian McCaffrey who is banged up with a stinger but still running hard - he's had to come off the field again though after taking a nasty shot to the head that may have hurt his neck.

  12. touchdown

San Francisco 49ers 6-41 Seattle Seahawks - fourth quarter

Start the car! It's just a run off right tackle for Kenneth Walker and the blocking is so good he's able to take a Saturday night stroll into the end zone and that's just about that as the Seahawks serve up a 40-burger.

This has been a remarkable effort from the Seahawks, who have been right on it from the very first play and have just dominated in all phases of the game.

Whoever they host in the NFC Championship next week Seattle will be big favourites.

Seattle have to go into the next game with a rhythm and they've definitely created that this game. They're getting the ball into the hands of their playmakers, Sam Darnold has done a good job.

Another four and out for the 49ers as the third quarter slides towards its conclusion.

The Seahawks will take over on the San Francisco 38.

For a while, this game has been long gone. Seattle have been playing like a Super Bowl team.

  17. Postpublished at 03:38 GMT 18 January

San Francisco 49ers 6-34 Seattle Seahawks - third quarter

It's true the 49ers treatment room reads like a who's who of the NFL:

    • George Kittle (Achilles)
    • Fred Warner (ankle)
    • Nick Bosa (knee)
    • Mykel Williams (knee)
    • Tatum Bethune (groin)

That doesn't count receiver Ricky Pearsall who is struggling with a knee injury, Brandon Aiyuk who has not played since rupturing his ACL last season or left tackle Trent Williams and his hamstring issues.

    Tough season for the Niners.

San Francisco 49ers 6-34 Seattle Seahawks - third quarter

    Have your say

The 49ers day is over. They need to take a hard look at their coaching styles and conditioning coaches. Injuries have been apparent for many years now, and it's starting to wear thin. Shanahan needs to simplify and give the team space to breathe. With only 2-3 years left of CMC, Warner, Bosa and Kittle, we need to do something differently.

Great job running off the side - all it takes for Walker is a little bit of space. He's so explosive and has great speed.

Told you Kenneth Walker was having a game!

A second TD for the Seahawks running back who watches the 49ers defence part and plunders through the gap for a 15-yard score.

Absolutely no let-up from the NFC top seed.
